NSDL has enhanced the current functionalities of IDeAS (Internet-based Demat Account Statement) to facilitate e-voting also.
The demat account holders post authentication on IDeAS will be able to cast its vote for securities where NSDL has been appointed as E-Voting Service Providers (ESPs).

SEBI vide circular number SEBI/HO/AFD/ AFD-SEC-2/P/CIR/2024/8 dated January 25, 2024 on “Streamlining of Regulatory Reporting by Designated Depository Participants (DDPs) and Custodians” has notified that the reports mentioned in table 1 of the circular henceforth shall be submitted on the SEBI Intermediary Portal (SI Portal) by DDPs and Custodians. Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for registration of Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) – To standardise the processes followed by the various designated depository participant (DDP’s) operating in the market, the following “SOP for registration of FPIs” is being issued to serve as guidance for the DDPs in concurrence with SEBI.

To check the KYC status, follow these steps:

b. Click on KYC inquiry.
c. Enter PAN , input the captcha , and click Submit to fetch the status.
To identify the KYC Registration Agency (KRA) with which your KYC is registered, check the KRA and KYC Status column.
