Within Global Markets IT, Trade Processing is the domain, which comprises of the range of asset-specific applications that manage the lifetime and workflow of deals right from their capture through to their settlement and reporting.

Position Purpose

Purpose: Technical Manager expected to oversee timely & quality business deliveries, contribute to production stability, manage stakeholder escalations, adherence to agile processes and drive technological advancements of the application in line with market trends.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to transformation of existing C++ services into .NET Core C# alongside developers across Mumbai, Chennai, Paris & London.

Responsibilities

 

Direct Responsibilities

· Hands-on .NET Core C# technical manager, able to code & provide design/architectural guidance.

· Experience of working for a time critical enterprise application high on volumes and availability.

· Contribute to Level 3 application support to investigate production issues and provide fixes/workaround to the L1 & L2 support team.

· Ownership of business deliveries.

· Drive Agile processes & DevSecOps practices within the team.

· Experience of working in a time critical enterprise application high on volumes and availability.

· Experience in Finance domain

· Effectively communicate individual objectives for senior staff and continuously monitor the team’s performance.

Contributing Responsibilities

· Contribute to administrative management with time/effort matrices, business continuity exercise, dev control audits, regular delivery status updates etc.

· Ensure all Platform and Organization practices & standards with respect to software development lifecycle & risk management are adhered to.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

· Having Engineering/Solutioning mindset

· Working knowledge C# .Net Core, Web service/Web Api, Oracle/ SQL

· Good knowledge on Pattern and Practices

· Unit Testing, Continuous integration tools (Bitbucket, Jenkins)

· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
