About GIFT City
GIFT City is an International Financial Services Centre Banking Unit located in Gujarat, India. It is India’s first planned state-of-the-art International Financial Services Centre (IFSC), which has been benchmarked against established global financial districts to offer a host of cross-border financial services to clients. The IFSC at GIFT City enables range of onshore and offshore financial services, offering cross-border financial products and services within a competitive tax environment.
The International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) is the regulatory body for the GIFT City IFSC, overseeing the development and regulation of financial products, financial services and financial institutions in the IFSC in India

Products & Solutions
BNP Paribas at GIFT city currently offers Term Loans in the form of External Commercial Borrowings (ECBs) loans to corporates. ECB’s are commercial loans raised by eligible Indian entities from recognized non-resident lenders in foreign currency, governed by the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA).
Soon, we will also begin offering Trade Financing products including Buyers Credit, Supply Chain Financing, etc., as well as products for the Financial Markets and Treasury. Buyer’s credit shall enable importers in India a source of finance for their foreign currency payment of imports into India.
